| Me with my friend Jerry Wagoner in front of my work. Yes it was cold. |
I participated in an event on Saturday January 19th. It was a one day long event that included visual art, Music, Circus stuff, burlesque, etc. The event was held in the Brooklyn Lyceum a converted bath house near the Gowanus on 4th Ave in Brooklyn. I had four painting in it, and I think I have already written about them them in earlier posts. The theme of the work that I showed was revolutionary war in Brooklyn. The cool part for me was the site of the Lyceum is build over the old battlefield of 1776. I think it was also appropriate that a painting dedicated to the Maryland soldiers, that lie buried somewhere nearby, also won "best in show".
